The public aquarium of Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium, Monaco is known to have been inaugurated in the year 1910 by Prince Albert I who was also its founder. This museum of marine sciences is reputed for being a major architectural masterpiece with a grand frontage that's above the sea level approximately by a height of 279 feet. Within a time span of 11 years this aquarium was built and 100,000 tons of stone from La Turbie was brought in to use.
