The freshwater fishes and plants are displayed in a s many as ten tanks. Each of the tanks is of 5 to 10 liters. The fresh water fish and plant section of Phuket Aquarium displays fishes and plants of more than fifty species. The most remarkable ones among the fresh water fishes are the Amazon cobia and the electric eel.

The other section of Phuket Aquarium displaying marine creatures is twenty two tanks. It is a great delight to watch the Napoleon wrasse, snapper, butterfly fish, bluefin and banner fishes through the transparent tunnel of Phuket Aquarium.
